You have not reached a single grand slam final in the past one year. Does it change much in the next six months? Although I agree grass is favorite surface and Wimbledon is your best bet. You will have hard time winning one more Australian, U.S or French withering through five set matches at this age and young guns especially Rafa, Djoko, Murray playing solid, pacy and physical game.

It's a pity to note that some people are so jealous of the Great Federer. What for?Whatever he is today,he has earned it through his talent, dedication and hard work.He has already reached the pinnacle of men's tennis and the records held by him is enough indication of that.He need not prove it again by winning another Grand slam. But,I am sure,he will definitely win again as he has the talent and physical ability to do so.He is so consistent in his play that he has consistently reached the finals or semi finals of most of the grand slams barring few.No other player holds such a record.Others have to substantiate their greatness with actual achievements.

Jealousy? As you said what for? I told you in my post the reason in my post.

When none was there, he consistently won grand slams, when Rafa came out, he consistently reached finals, when Djokovic also improved his game, he is now consistently reaching semi finals, when four or five more players like Murray, Berdych et. al. announce their arrival, he will consistently reach quarter finals.

As more and more players emerge and Federer's game declines, Federer's results also decline from winning slams to reaching finals, to semi finals where he is now, and to quarter finals and round matches in the future.

who cares? he is the king of tennis and will remain so. who give a S whether he wins another slam? and by the way if he can win 16, he can win 17 also! he just might win wimbledon or the us open. watch out haters!

Oh you don't care and yet make a lengthy post. I don't hate Federer, but you hate me because I root for another player.

And yes, if Sampras can win 12 slams, he can come back from retirement and win 13 also. However, surprisingly, Nadal who is at 24 and won 9 slams cannot fix his injury woes and win his 10th slam. Don't know why.

rafa has a reason for not being able to reach SF but fedex was fully fit to beat djokovic. I think rafa was really unlike this time round not to win all the 4 grand slams.. he is young & plety of time to do that & as far as his body is conerned i am sure he will keep himself fit to play till age 30.... & then u know what will happen to all fedex's records...

no praveen, the way rafa's game is many experts of tennis think that he cannot be injury free till the age of 30 and cannot play that much time, and i as a tennis fan also think the same.
But i respect both rafa and roger though federer is my all time fav

well thats what tennis experts said three years ago when federer was at the helm of affairs. they said rafa is uninspiring, his knees will give up in couple of years ......and the list goes on.
but rafa has proved them all wrong.

I think Federer has at least 3 grand slams in him before he retires. Nadal may come a close 2nd to Federer GrandSlam tally when both retire. A big question mark on Nadal is how well his body may cope up with his intense physical nature of play.

This guy feels he has to win all the time. He is rarely gracious in defeat.

"Rarely gracious???" Are u kidding?. He gave credit to Novak when he said "Novak played great game". What else u want him to say? He also said at the beginning of the tournament that "Nadal is favourite". Pls, do not spread lies on this board.

There is no denial that Federer is a cry baby and a bad loser. Only Federer fans think otherwise.

On the other hand, Rafa is very humble.

That's because he will look foolish proclaiming himself as the favourite when Rafa has been winning.
