This man had some remarkable skill with the ball... and some silly haircuts but that didn't matter... it was all about the 'real' Ronaldo... sadly no more. Hats off to you veera... enjoy your retirement. Although I would love to see you on the screens again as Coach or even Manager in the future...
RONALDO DIDN`T GET HIS DUE.HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER IN HIS PEAK RECEIVING FIFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR TWICE AT A VERY TENDER AGE(THE THIRD ONE COMING IN 2002).HIS FITNESS DID HIM IN OR ELSE WHO KNOWS....WE,AS FANS CAN ONLY DREAM ABOUT WHAT HE COULD HAVE BEEN.HE WAS A MUCH BETTER PLAYER THAN EVEN THE BEST STRIKERS OF TODAY.THERE IS ONLY ONE FOR ME ,RONALDO!!!
For me Ronaldo is the greatest striker ever!! I saw his career in full what a player. Only injuries stopped him from being even greater. At his PEAK he was simply unplayable. I will never forget his peak years 1996-1998. He was the best player i ever saw! Thanks for the memories Ronaldo. The REAL ronaldo!
