Kudos to Bhutia! But no Live coverage of I League 2010-11

It was heartening to know that Bhutia was part of the Laureus Charity Match. Indeed this is a giant leap to Indian football and the Asia Cup was an icing to the cake.

Indian football is leaping and am sure that very soon we can be rubbing shoulders with the mighty but that to happen there is the need for the soccer bosses to wake up. We need to have proper infrastructures good football stadiums. Under our coach Bob Houghton we have made great progress. We had qualified for the Asia Cup and if we had proper infrastructures, we definitely would have scaled greater heights.
The I League has been a tremendous boost to the Indian football. The inclusion of foreign players have made Indian football competitive and every player has to give his best to survive.
But sadly let me point out that due coverage and due attention is not given to Indian Football. The I League First leg is over. Every team have played 13 matches and now the Second Leg will start but it is a great regret that there was no Live Telecast of even a single match held so far in this I League 2010-11. It was reported that the I League has got a good and big sponsor then why are the matches not telecast Live. I appeal to the I League bosses to ensure that I League get good coverage in the media and all the remaining matches are telecast live so that Indian football and fans will rise. We the soccer fans of India are disappointed with the apathy shown us.
