Everybody is busy with Virendra shewag's double hundred but no one finds time to write anything about India's fine win in semifinal over Maldives in SAF football championship tournament,Cricket is played hardly seven to eight countries and football is played all over the world, so please pay attention to this beautiful game and encourage our National Team.

Playing in SAFF and winning it again and again is no achievement. India should do something meaningful at least in Asian level...it is high time, after 1970 Asiad bronze, we have not achieved anything meaningful in football. Just look at small Asian countries, who are playing World Cup and we are # 30 in Asia.

That does not means that you will discourage this present generation,if cricket is taken seriously by all the country,India's position will be below 50 or so like Hokey.

I was there to cheer the national side in their opener against Afghanistan. The quality of football our guys played made me think if they are fit for a national side at all. The Afghan team was looking much more prepared for the match. It was not a case of a off colour performance which can happen to any side on a given day, but the skill levels were too low to consider them a national side. Anyways, it is heartening to see them improve and wish them all the best for the final....

whats the use of discussing this.Even if u like it or not, cricket will b the no. 1 game.Football is already in the doldrums like hockey but whats bad is indians have world champions in shooting and chess but are not taken seriously.
