Just escaped..
by bomber on Dec 05, 2011 02:13 AM  | Hide replies

Nadal just got so lucky. Delpo was tired from the gruelling 5 setter with Ferrer. Otherwise he was so close to bringing Nadal's pants down before his own public on his own beloved clay. I see Nadal going out of top 5 next year and will face early shameful exit in AO open

I have saved your message......people said same about Rafa when he US open to Del Potro, lost AO QF to Andy Murray and soon after lost to Soderling in Roland Garros and withdrew from Wimbeldon...All in a span on 6 months...Soon after that he had one of the most successful span of months in his career where he got almost 12000 ATP points in nine months...we will reiterate this reply in few months time....we will see whose pants are down

While you are at it you should also talk about what people thought after his 2010 end, that he is going for no.16 in 2011 and all that...and what happenned? so try to talk about both sides of the coin. Its just my prediction and I have seen and played tennis at a much higher level than you can imagine

U obviously are a Nadal hater-ur comments clearly reveals bias against one of the greatest players in history-Plus ur comments indicate ur superiority complex-pl shut ur mouth and be objective- in sports it's always better to be fair-without having any predetetermined opinion/bias-G.Muralidhar

Completely agree that he survived yesterday owing to DelPo's fatigue. I also think his dominance on clay is nearing an end. But I dont see him going out of top 5 simply because there are not many takers for the same. DelPo and Tsonga are the real contenders to displace him but they are more susceptible to injury than Rafa. In any case 2012 will be interesting. Djoko to defend so many points, Nadal going through a mid career crisis, Roger wanting to end his career on a high and honestly I feel next yr is gonna be Murray's last chance to win a Slam.
