I would like to congratulate Mr. Makan for introducing the sports bill in parliament. BCCI must be made accountable and must pay all government taxes as applicable. Individuals with doubtful credentials must be made to quit positions held by them in BCCI.
Money matters. whoever talks against BCCI will be muted by money. just wait a while and u'll see how people in support of BCCI outnumber the people who oppose it. it may be politicians, players etc. Also watch out for the reaction of ravi shastri & gavaskar, the paid parrots of BCCI.
These shameless ministers who can't take credible care of their assigned portfolios want to head sport bodies!!! PM should ask them, what results did they achieve for their respective sports in the last two years. All government organisations MUST be brought under RTI, except agencies dealing with sensitive information about national security. Look at the dismal state of Indian hockey to have an understanding what a bunch of crooks and/or morons these people are.
The movement of anti corruption has had no effect on our honourable ministers who make millions out of such bodies. It is the peoples money that is looted and stashed away in foreign banks. Otherwise why the opposition especially when the Prime Minister was in favour of the bill. God only can save this country
