What is more important? Saving few minutes of TV coverage or a world record holder showing his awesome capability? This "One Falls Start, Immediate Disqualification" is really stupid. When you make the athletes wait for about 5-10 minutes before the start of the run, false starts are bound to happen. You can't rob the sports of what it is meant for, the high caliber athelete. Idiotic to think about saving few minutes.

yeah.... every athlete spends hours together practising and throughout the year, just for the 10 seconds of race. If just a single false start deprives them of a year long intense practice, it is really heartening. In a sport where a microsecond matters a lot, there is always tense moments during the race and anyone can make a mistake easily... i hope the athletic federation relaxes a bit of these strange rules

No, The Athletic federation is absolutely RIGHT in Bolt's disqualification. Imagine all athletes try to do the same once. Then it disturbs the concentration of athletes and they are bound to not perform upto their standards.
