in the midst of india getting bashed in cricket, comes this good news of the two oldies lee-mahesh winning a ATP 1000 title. there is another good news for indian sports fans-india won 2 gold medals in shooting at the Universiade 2011, currently being held in Shenzhen,China. India won the Air Pistol 10m womens team event & Air Pistol 10m women individual gold-the winner is harpreet srao.sorry to say that rediff & indian newspapers/tv channels just ignored this achievement of our coming generation.they are so obsessed with cricket & anna hazare that they do not have time & space to cover other matters. or is it because the event(Universiade 2011)is being held in China(our friend?)India has decided to blank out all news emanating from there.
