i hope it is not curtains for the indian pair 2day, as they face the high ranked chinese pair.jwala is half-chinese as her mother was from china, a former badminton player. saina meanwhile put up a forgettable show against one of wangs of china( god knows how many wangs they have). this girl has immense talents but lately has got distracted by ramp shows, becoming brand ambassadors of luxury/jewellery items, thereby forfeiting hard training & practice. it is time saina's parents & coach bring her back to the right track.

I watched her match and was disappointed, Saina was clearly no match for her opponent wang from china , almost with ease she overpowered saina in a more or less one-sided encounter.

Anyway , I will support our female doubles . Jwala gutta is hot as well, so that's eye candy too

how could this happen?
by biswanath roy on Aug 12, 2011 06:48 PM

saina prior to leaving h'bad for london had said that she was completely fit,& the ankle pain & bandage which she wore for the last 6 months had been taken out. she had boasted that this year she will definitely win this tournament, & does not fear any of the chinese stars, as she has the capacity to beat them all. how did she suffer such a humiliating defeat in straight games to the lowest ranked chinese. in 2011 saina has won only one tournament the swiss open where none of the top 10 players were participating. she reached 2 finals-malaysian & indonesian & was beaten in both by a chinese. saina instead of boasting should concentrate on her games/training instead of getting distracted by taking parts in ramp shows & commercial exhibitions, thereby reaping easy money. otherwise her future will be similar to the other "sa..."of h'bad.
