I am really disgusted on the comment of anti-football. I dont what really defines football. is it only playing beautiful football. I think what Netherland did in the final to Spain was correct if you know that teams dont have to play on opponents terms. Likewise Real dont hve to play the way Barca play. If barca are called the greatest team in history of football they shud have broke the defence of real. Real didnt build any wall to prevent them from breaking.... Let Pep also play the same way what Real does.... Fottball lovers across vl support their club which ever way they play.... I am a Jose Fan & change teams whee Jose Jumps club.....

Hail Jose! Follower of anti football. If Barcelona wins it is because of the Referee and not because of the beautiful football that it displays, whereas if any of my (Jose Mourinho’s) team loses it is because of the referee. Hail Jose! the master psychologist and best referee, not the best coach. Jose said “ Alfredo di Stefano is a legendary player of Real Madrid but I am the coach. So, I decide the composition and the style of the team. True! Senhor Mourinho, absolutely correct. Mr. Anders Fritz of Switzerland who officiated Chelsea – Barcelona during Mourinho’s time at Chelsea was the best referee than what led him to retirement? Answer: Two different yardsticks to two different people. Hail Jose! the one who talks more is not always correct. Remember the old saying “ Silence is gold and speech is silver”.

Because football cannot provide entertainment is the reason why people watch wrestling. Come on Senhor Mourinho, win trophies with entertaining football and please don’t kill football otherwise the opinionated man will have to watch wrestling.

Football lost!
by Rizwan Khan on Apr 21, 2011 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

One team was trying to play football. The other team was trying to stop the other team from playing football! The team that was trying to play football LOST.

Football is not about winning only, it is about giving entertainment to the millions watching. YEs madrid won but they won ugly.

I am a big fan of brazilian football and i remember when Dunga won the Copa America 3-0 against argentina in a defensive manner. I was disgusted. I would rather brazil lose in the brazilain way than win in a defensive manner. Im sure the true real madrid fans will say the same.

I am not a true real madrid fan..but i am a football fan..winning is important in sport.and in yesterdays match real madrid played ugly?? what about barca?they dint tackle hard?? villa dint dive? finally only real madrid scored a super goal..not barca..and the score is 1-0..get over it..winning trophy is important for a football club..and if real madrid is defensive, thats their tactics..defending is also a part of football..in EPL, arsenal are saying that they are playing "beautiful football" and they havent won anything in 6 yrs..at the end of the day trophy counts..not the beautiful football..and we all know how barca won that CL semi finals against chelsea..so dont talk like barcelona never cheats..I still remember in some match, sergio busquets recived a slight tackle on his legs and then he covered his face as though he recieved that challenge in his face..superb acting..better than cristiano ronaldos acting..

I saw the whole game!! Madrid were playing counter attacking, 11 men behind the ball and catching them on the break. This is called ANTI-FOOTBALL! Real Madrid are known for good football not anti-football it will not be long before mourinho will be sacked! I can gaurantee you this. I remember Del Bosque winning the champions league for Madrid in 2002 but was sacked! Why? Because he was not playing beautifull football. Mourinho plays anti-football and anyone that knows about football knows this.

rizwan,
your comment reminds me of that "sour grapes" story..if u say real madrid played anti football yesterday, then i am sure u dint see the match or u must be a big time barca fan..and if u r disgusted to see defensive fotball, then u will remain disgusted only..at some point of time teams will play defensive football...that is also a part of football..at the end of the day, winning matters..

We'll these days, the ends always justifies the means. PEPE and RAMOS were made to appear like thugs and gansters who were hell bent on breaking Messi's legs. Mou's tem will go all the distance (with referee blind eye). But fello Madrisdistas, relax, the great Alfredo Stefano has already delivered the verdict on the quality of Real madrid football. History will remember the greats, even Alexander did not conquor the world, but he is remembered. Barca for Ever
