Come on, you know there is much better law and order in the south than in the north. Don't defend just for the sake of defending.

In the recent past in Kerala there was an incident where a girl was pushed out of ladies compartment, raped and killed. There were similar attacks in some other trains also. For a while there was a furore and soon everything died down in election thamasha.

Where's safety on trains especially for ladies? Would you dare to let your loved ones travel alone in an Indian train? Think many times before you do. RPF is a joke. Railways badly needs attention and that b!tch who is the railway minister has no time for it. And our PM as usual is a helpless id!ot.

These guys only deserve to clean houses of the Chinese leaders.

Cricket and Cricketers are to bloame for this!
by sandeep kumar on Apr 14, 2011 09:41 AM  | Hide replies

Our sportsmen travel in buses and trains, while our cricketers travel only in business class. And they dont even give a fraction of their money to charity or other sports. All they do is earn millions from bcci and IPL. And do ads and get cash rewards thrown at them. My blood boiled when i heard of tax breaks and free train travel. All this for a fluke WC win,(where there were only 5 contenders!!!). The US and europe are ignorant and rightly so, because they have champs in other fields. Its high time we stop attention to cricket, and support other sports. With our human resources, and 9pc growth, we will be a sport power in no time. Start with football, where we have so much talent in the northeast.

sandeep...any pvt organisation can shell their money on cricketers but yes giving tax rebates n free rail passes etc ..they must stop such kind of appreciation,,,its tax payers money ....but to say that india won WC is pretty harsh ,,,u got to credit this team when they deserve..some day ,,india might come out with a win in footbal championship,n there will be some other sandeep crediting it to a fluke,,,whats the fun is that u see....

Mr,Sandeep,

Your comments look like cheap & silly.. I am unable to control my laugh..Cricketers will do lot of charity.. Even BCCI has given a lot of money to other sports even for football also..I think u r not reading the newspaper / watching news channels..A worldcup cannot be fluke. For your kind info there 90 cricket playing nations in the world..In that there r 10 test playing nations which are eligible for Worldcup...Others hv to fight to play in the world cup...This clearly shows ur immarure knowledge about cricket..Your are talking about football. India is unable to qualify for the worldcup qualifying matches for so many yrs evnthough there are lot of money is flowing to improve the game...You r a big fool of fools not knowing anything about the sports & making such nonsense comments.

Sad to know a career cut short
by S K on Apr 14, 2011 07:11 AM  | Hide replies

feel sadd n ashamed that such is the state of women in our india. wonder what was the mentality of those youths in pushing her out of the train. On one side we praise our cricketers whereas on the other side players from other sports dont get any support at all from government. this incident wudnt have happened if there were police in the train. but alas.... I just pray that Sonu's injuries heal fast and the mental scars that she will face are removed forever from her life.

Yes. When Sania or some media-savvy, media-loved person even loses, they make page 1. Unfortunate, to say the least. May the almighty give poor Sonu some life at least (I dont think she can ever even walk propery again). To heck with Indian hypocrites who forget they themselves are in a bad way, one way or another
