Barca all the way !!!!
by rschummi on Apr 13, 2011 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

I guess it would be a Barca Vs Shalke and Barca repeating 2009 !! Go Barca ..you play lovely football.

If Manu gets into final.. Barca will starve Rooney and make him frustrated.

You must be joking....

Two of the most arrogant managers the history of the game has ever seen are SAF and Jose Mourinho...

And you call the simpleton Guardola and his team arrogant....

They are anything but arrongant, they take pride in their style of play, but that is but natural.

Its not arrogance dude, its atittude.
They are the one who build there team and make them reach on certain level so have all the rights to show atittude.
But Guardola have got an natural and beautiful playing team Its more Look like spain national team and doing well, but u can see with there body language, they r arrogant.
I belive, they have lack in quality in defence, the problem is all the team playing against them are defending most of the time so barca defence havent tested so often.
An attacking team like Manu or Arsenal for sure can over par them

Calling the referee impartial and not even sorry for being that is attitude???

His big daddy attitude, has made him see many a touchline bans, but you cannot change an old horse..

Give the devils their due, SAf and JM might be great managers but they are arrogant nonetheless.

Man U , attacking and that too in Europe...either u dont understand football or u are just picking up a fight for nothing...

Barca play vintage football my dear friend, pass and move, classical football at its best.
Man U doesnt have a decent dribbler apart from |Rooney in best form.
They dont even have a2 decent midfielders... 1 and half is my bet, one being giggs and half being fletcher....

Really, maybe we will talk at the end of the sems.

But what I know for sure is a wafer thin midfield of man u....
With raul still firing on all cylinders and Farfan also in form...anything can happen...

Moreover, Man us has poor record going into germany.

Mr. Opinionated Man... we are all aware of man utd's bad showing in germany most of the times. And we also are aware of barca's aweful away record in champion's league. All the freaking glory hunting barca fans seem to know more about football than any one. The team is special.. not the fans. We are talking here of a Man Utd team which most of them gave a thumbs down at the beginning of the season to win anything. They have come so far on self belief. And yes.. about paper thin mid fielders.. may be not good as barca's but definitely very good. Yeah.. may be we should talk at the end of semis.

Can u name a decent Man u team for a presumable final against barca???

How many balls do you think will the old horse giggs make for rooney? Berba will surely not play, and SAF plays very cautiously to field a 4-4-2.
If both Rio and Vidic are in super form then yes, but Shalke is ona goal scoring spree...So my guess is semis would be a tight match, can go either way, but finals would be a one sided affair....

Time to change the history dude, if they have poor record going to germany then they have fabulous record at home.
Do u really believe Shalke can shake Manu defense, no way.
They have just conceded 3 goals all season in Cl.
The maximum Shalke can no is to draw a game at home either by 0-0 or 1-1. But what they will do at home.
U talking abt Raul, Manu having Giggs, Nani, Rooney who can destroy any attack with Valencia to follow.

If Man U has conceded only 3 Shalke also boasts of scoring 19 already.

I reckon a close fight, and not as easy as you are comprehending.

Moreover, Real will lose heavily to Guardola's giants.

The Great United
by aftab alam on Apr 13, 2011 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

Most of the time u see Manu playing, it seems opposition are playing better than them but in end more than often, United comes out as winner.
The sign of great team, Chelsea were having fabulous season last season and still having an class team but doesnt have the X-Factor what united has (Alex Ferguson).
Which team in the world would keep berbatov on bench in such important clash that too after being top scorer of the league.
Congrats !!!

You midfield is in shambles my dear friend.

Just wait when Giggs and scholes finally hang their boots and van der saar....

Even this season the player for you was giggs...

The gap in midfield will be beaten to pulp in finals either by barca or real....

Do you know a term called "horses for courses"??

Berba is only suited to rout smaller teams, with his goal positioning he is no creative player and rarely wins balls...so no use in such an iconic match..

Just has a good conversion rate.

Ultimatley the things matter is winning and Manu is winning winning and keep winning.
Its just unbelivable frnds.
Alex is keep produsing the starts and not getting effected for longer period even after they leave the team.
Ex. Ronaldo left Manu but they still able to be one of top team last season. Plz see the gap between Chelsea and manu last season. Chelsea at his capacity best but still gap were very narrow.
Great Manu

That is true if you just take this season as a seperate entity my dear friend.

This is probably the worst football man u has played in decades, yet it is leading the race in PL..

Goes to show the state the other teams are in in EPL.

But, cant see them winning against either of Real or Barca, so no treble in the reckoning, might be a double....
i.e. assuming they dont choke this season, like the previous one.
