I really don't understand this ban. It is completely inconsistent with other punishments handed out. I mean if you swear at the ref the most you will get is a yellow card. Surely the blame with the swearing being heard lands with sky for allowing it to air. The live games go through a delay which was brought in after Hillsborough and it should have been cut out. Very strange

Chunga,hoya,Rooney is a spoilt brat and a hooligan... lots of kids look up to him as their idol... the man is a fool. Get him to spend some time with Sachin to see how role models behave... chalo :-)

Well not everybody can be a Sachin..and Man United fans don't need to look at Sachin..they have got SIR Ryan Giggs for a role model...the main point is ...swearing happens in football all the time..why single out Rooney? will FA be brave enough to go ahead and ban every other player who swears?
