We need such guys
by shubasrikrishna on Oct 01, 2010 08:22 AM

Yesterday Ravishankar Prasad was on all the TV channels and blasted the TV anchors for their one sided views and focus on sensationalism. Arnab Goswami, Barkha Dutt and others shivered like pussycats not knowing what to reply.
I really hope guys like Kalmade and Sheila Dixit rebut these anti nationals in the strongest words and talk back. Only then they will understand not to spread falsehood.
All the athletes who have come have told that the facilities are above par.

Both displayed a type of power ..in our case its different.
No one can dare to complaint , if at all they complaint they have to take their words back.
India showed to world on how to bribe, put pressure, threaten people to make people behave as per their desire.ITS GREAT POWER I THINK

The difference between China and India are people like you.
Chinese are patriotic and will support their country even if there are shortcomings.
Indians like you will criticize and demean your own country even if there are know shortcomings. This is the Sacchi baat

As expected They forget to thank hardwork done by Army
by S S on Sep 30, 2010 02:22 PM

Army was called in last second to replace the collapsed bridge at CWG built by PWD. In spite of Army being a 24x7 all weather all problems response why are soldiers being treated shabbily? Why is a soldier retired compulsorily at an early age without a suitable alternate career or being compensated for the overall loss of his lifetime earnings while every other Govt servant retires at 60 or above despite their poor performance. Doesn’t the Govt compensate tem by paying them a handsome compensation for a VRS.
Even the lowly One Rank One Pension that can partially offset the loss of overall lifetime earnings is being denied Why? Doesn’t the soldier need as much finances to bring up his children and take care of his family as anyone else in the society.
Talking of finances the govt has no problem in providing Rs 70,000 crore for botched up CWG Games, Rs 80,000 crore for loan waiver, enhance pay and DA for parliamentarians. Loss of ex-chequer (Rs 50-60,000 crore) in 2G scam and other scams which surface daily do not seem to cause a financial worry to UPA but when it comes to paying the soldier they seem to have an inexplicable predicament.

I second you on that. First we take all the blame, but then somehow, we pull it off.
That how we're.
But i'm not reading too much into this piece. :)

That is not a great thing. I would say we are great if everyone can expect something out of us and we can meet that expectation without generating unnecessary tension and confusion to the beneficiaries. They should be able to trust us.
