Ban visiting India
by Arun Sharma on Sep 28, 2010 11:48 PM

I strongly suggest Indian Government should take some serious steps against all those Players who have withdrawal their name from participating Delhi CWG and visiting India - These Players should never be allowed to visit India ever in future even as tourist. As this act / decision of their is direct insult to India.

Athelets are admitting that Indian facilities are much better than many sports villages world over,we are proud to hear that.

Even our sports greats like Milkha Singh,Abhinav Bindra echoes the same..it is a matter of pride for every Indian...

we should have done this before athletes arrive,,as usual Indian people always like to be suprevised and like to be told what to be done and thats why everybody gets more than what they ask for with no value,,,

Unnecessary
by Oye Kake on Sep 27, 2010 10:05 PM

Suresh Kalmadi - "I dont know why this foreigners so hyped the problem. We are capable of doing everything within two weeks. Only month back when I asked my secretary about next months event he informed me that next month we have CWG and I said fine now lets start building sports complex and other appartments for the athletes to live. To my surprise my secretary told me that those work has already started couple of years back and now they are mostly ready. Then I said that I should personally analyze the situation so I booked my and my family's ticket to Melbourne where the last time CWG held.We did some touring of Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Cricket Ground so that same facilities I can compare back home then my secretary informed that Cricket is just an optional game in CWG where as the core games are athletics. So I invested one more week in Australia but finally I have to come back to India as my kids were having exam.
But when I came back I came to know about all these hype that western media made to insult India. I dont rule out the possibilites of ISI or LeT in this defaming. However people will see how we display my and my peoples blood that gone into this preparation."

For Indians living abroad like in US, Canada or Europe, they have to hear comments like how corrupt, disorganised preparation for this games have been. It is a shame that the third most powerful nation can make a mess of something like this. i pray that this games does not get into further hiccups so that we donot hear more comments.
