Forget about the past British rule and what not. This is 2010. And India which is now competing with China to be a super power could not even get the mess cleaned up at CWG. What a bad image the world over.In a land where places of worship are kept so clean and homes within are kept so clean cannot even clean up their outside surroundings.

Anyways I feel we have diverted enough out of the topic...EOB from my side on this thread
Sounds like quite a euphoria of of slaves being slaves to the masters that are. Whatay colonial drama. The games are of course a celebration of victory of the british..a way of saying the sun never sets on the british empire.

Tea vendor Prez Patil be please kept atleast 100 miles away from games venue and some man who can stand with a spine be next to prince charles. The very sight of her would arouse too many questions and would be a demotivation for the athletes.

Seems like you like Patil a lot!!!She does not seem to be qualified as President nor is there any personality to her

WHETHER you like her or don't does not change the fact that she is the president of India

Nobody is in denial of that fact!!!...But that fact is not a source of pride at all!!!..and that is what this is all about...Its a shame really and on top of that people who are abroad earning dollars seem to be "over-protective" of the President of India...Talk of hypocrisy...
CWG- Common Wealth Games are played by countries who were under British rule...wat a shame dat still Prince Charles is inaugurating CWG in INDIA...!!! n wat a Sham3 to INDIAN g0vt. that they proved rite wat Winston Churchil 0nc3 said "INDIA will be rul3d by G00NS if we eva left it.." n so it is being rul3d by GOONS(corrupt politicians and bureaucrats)...!! 1st Britishers exploit3d IN#D!A n now H!ndu, Mu$l!ms, S!kH n Christians are exploiting it...!!

apparently you have no respect for women who earn their living by cleaning homes and and doing the dishes ... right?

I do respect their work and on hindsight my message may have come across portraying no respect..so apologies on that..The anger at the Patil and the games may have been translated incorrectly..In any case to ram home the point,Patil is the worst President ever and does not deserve to represent India anywhere...
