We are fed up with this kind of unprofessional journalism. Due to E-Media & ever since Private TV News Channels have been launched, the Ethical or Professional Journalism have lost its face. All these people who spread news thru various medium are behaving like a kid who does not have any knowledge and basic idea about journalism. It seems that all the Media is now sitting in and around CWG Village to make news and criticize and demoralize the spirit of CWG. There seems a conspiracy to sabotage CWG and Politicize the issue. I want to ask all these media personnel, what were they doing when all the corruption has taken place and the venue were under construction and works were getting delayed. Had they pointed out all the shortcomings, highlighted in News about the corruptions, Unprofessional and Substandard Construction Works, May be all these accidents/mishaps could have been avoided and protrayed good image of INDIA. Shame on all these Journalists.

Why are the organisers giving issues for the media to highlight? They could have done a better job. If there are problems, then they will be exposed. You cannot blame the media for the wrongs that are there in the preparations for the events.
What demoralise are your talking about. The blame is squarely on the Govt. The aim seems to have been just to swindle money. It was reported that Rs 60K Crores was spent on this event. How much went into the into the CWG and how much into pockets? Any idea what all could have been done with this kind of money for the Nation? How many schools could have been built? How many hungry families could have been fed?

Journos were waiting to oragnize "Forum", "We the People", "Big Fight"...etc.,
A section of media is worse than SCAVENGERS.
NOUN. 1.One that scavenges, as a person who searches through refuse for food. 2.An animal, such as a bird or insect, that feeds on dead or decaying matter.
These Africans should not make fuss of it. In fact we Indians have provided snakes in your room to Entertain you and give you feeling of being at home.
CWG needs a snake-chrmer squad also, with emergency phone number; call them and they will come, quieten the snake with charm-music and box them in and take them off.
In democracy one must support the opposition to come to power after all the mess created by the ruling government. Congress has taken the country for granted.

I fully agree with LTTEPrabhakaran. He is supporting the UPA government because it extended all possible help to the beleagured Tamils. We should have full faith in the leadership of Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh and Mr Rahul Gandhi.

Corruption is rampant and can be reflected everywhere which is no surprise in a democracy of 1.2 billion. It is not an autocracy like China or much smaller democracies like the western world and all said and done , this behemoth machinery of our country is developing at an envious pace is commendable . When rampant corruption is seen evident, it needs to be punished in the strictest terms. But it is no good thing to publicly criticize and throw mud at our own dress , in front of the world. It is no great thing to announce to the world, the problems we have in our own home . It is no great press sense to do something like rediff and other media do. You act merely as commercial interests and do not fare much better than the corrupt who you are blaming . For the sake of our country, please stop this irrational vilifying of our own face.Had these remarks were made in countries like China which you glorify all the time, you would not have seen sun for the rest of your lives. Thank your stars that you are born in this free country of ours .

In india judiciary is highly corrupt. In independent india not even a single political leader convicted whether it is paswan, lalu, or anybody. First we should start killing judges on street to make indian democracy survice. Friends take stones in your hands. If you find a judge moving throw stones he should die of stone pelting itself.

I agree with Roby Stephen. All our problems must be hidden and only the bright side of things should be exposed. After all, the Westerners have inferior standards of hygiene compared to us Indians. Remember, they wipe (never wash).
Manoj Nair, why you always blame Congress ? Look what is happening in your 'Goat's own Coundry' where people are scared to invest due to strikes & Communist party's goondagiri. You people are scattered everywhere to ruin the image of India. You Mallus are disgrace and curse to India.

we are all equally good or bad and no one has any right to criticize the other. let us work as Indians and not like what you portrays as Mallus, kannadigas, tamils, Punjabis, assamese and so on. This is the bane of our country where unity in diversity is now a misnomer.
