CWG 2010
by Vivek Sethia on Sep 24, 2010 01:03 PM

It surprising to note that we indians ourselves are giving the world opporunity to blame and shame india. Why are we commenting so negatively. Specially this australia who is not even equal to india's one year population has always been against the indians at all levels and now its blaming india to have bribed 72 nations for winning the CWG bid to host 2010 CWG games. Its shamefull,

i would like to ask question indian media what they did when indians living in australia were manhandled beaten killed on grounds of racisim by this bluddy nation called australia during last 2 years. What did the australian media and government done during those times, has indian media aired any responses of australian media during those times,,,,,,,the answer is no since australian media and government have not even given a time cover such incidents.

I again urge to all indians and indian media to be more responsbile and dont let this hard spend INR 70,000 Crores let go as waste,

Please be more responsbile to use their powers to interact with public at large.

why dont they show things which are compelte and ready.

Else world is ready to write obituary about CWG 2010

:) wow... that's a nice comment... :)

BTW, go to bbcDOTcoDOTuk and see some interesting pictures floating around ... our own media has already shown you the Jama Masjid episode and the over bridge tragedy I trust?

But you can go on claiming that the whole world is against us without any rhyme or reason... :)

Pseudo.. u r again missing the point... the pictures were planted in a UK website.
Those were for consumption in western world ...not in the least for letting the whites to glee over the mess.
I mean all the boasting abt London olympics... let me go to London games site & I can bring up 10s of issues if I were to indulge in nitpicking.

NDA gave money to voting nations as other bidders too were also offering it..... NDA has to its credit that they got such a mega event for India.

What congress has done is one more mega scam of 70,000 crores under the garb of CWG shamed the nation world over and want to defend that with paying the countries to get the games...... dont people even understand the difference between the two

Cat is now out in open over some countries creating fuss !!!!
by P B on Sep 24, 2010 01:01 PM  | Hide replies

what was always suspected , that certain western countries were jealous of India winning bid to host 2010 CWGs & therefore were creating fuss to put India down.
This is now proved by the fact that since India had more muscle in terms of moneypower , which Canada could not match, therefore those who supported Canada during bidding are now criticising India.

The article cclearly points out that Hamilton,Canada could only shell out $70K, therefore could not outbid India.
Its not that something India did out of ordinary. They were just the highest bidders & the loosers are now calling grapes as sour.

Australia was NOT formed of thieves
by Jobi Varghese on Sep 24, 2010 01:00 PM

It is true that delinquents from the UK used to be deported to Australia. But, when it became clear that the land of Australia could be made inhabitable, the most hardworking people of UK migrated to Australia and through their hard work and sacrifices formed the Australia that we see today. For more, read stories like "The Corroboree".
