Now kalmadi has been sacked by the PM. Its bcos he didnt distributed the money earned as was discuused earlier. So the PM sacked him and asked CM to make sum money in last 9 days. We are really so proud of this govt.

I dont see anything wrong with these comments. Do you have anything to say in support of manmohan or sheila. were they sleeping for past 7 years while 60000 crores of public money was spent on a slavery games. and second, they did not fire kalmadi yet. because they cannot dare to do it as most of congi people, officials made money on this.

Klamadi may be sacked and booked..

But who will punish Man mohan Singh, the whole of Sports Ministry,Delhi Govt. the power centers who were responsible for delivering what was promised to CW?

I want to see the top guys punished without delay. Just putting all blame on Kalmadi will not do.

Is there any truth in what Subramaniam Swamy said about the CWG kickbacks?

Are you even an Indian?

Indians are used to walking on streets full of dried feces. We never complain.

All these Goras are used to walking on clean streets with proper roads. They are all spoiled brats.

We Indians keep it real. We walk in feces and spit paan and make the roads red. We keep it real.

Will the Police Chase away Early Morning Sh.it Goers?
by SaneIndian on Sep 24, 2010 11:48 PM

I bet Police will have hard time in chasing away people relieving themselves of their bowel load in the early morning Delhi fog.

Will the Police let these people releive themselves peacefully? They are just fertilizing the soil you know?

KALMADI ATTEMPTS SUICIDE----Part 1
by jaspal shakya on Sep 24, 2010 11:44 PM  | Hide replies

Head of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (OC) Suresh Kalmadi (56) attempted suicide by hanging in a toilet in the Games Village today. However, the ceiling collapsed, taking with it a part of the wall. The incident happened at 1.23 p.m.The suicide attempt came to light when an unnamed Games official, who was answering the call of nature on the other side of the wall, unexpectedly found himself spraying the inside of a toilet rather than the outside.Mr Kalmadi, it is reported, suffered a few minor scratches and has been discharged after first aid.Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit dismissed the matter as a 'minor glitch' and said that it would have no effect on the success of the Games. She pointed out that while the said toilet was inside the Games village, it was not meant for athletes. The Urban Development Minister, Mr Jaipal Reddy, refused to react to media reports, saying only that such incidents are 'part and parcel' of any big sporting event. The Sports Minister, MS Gill, refused to take responsibility, saying that the PWD department was in charge of the construction of the Games village and that his ministry has nothing to do with false ceilings.Mani Shankar Aiyar, MP, a long-time critic of the Games, held the rain gods responsible for the collapse of the ceiling. However, he was at pains to empahsise that he had not prayed to the said God.

Commonwealth Games Federation chief Michael Fennell said this would not have happened if his warnings of nine months ago had been heeded. When asked if he held Mr Kalmadi responsible for the lapse, he refused to comment. A foreign official, on condition of anonymity, wondered in a lighter vein why Kalmadi sought to hang himself in a toilet. 'They're filthy', he said.

The Cabinet Secretary, KM Chandrasekhar, said that it is everybody's national duty to see that such mishaps do not happen in the future. 'We must all work together to see that India is not put to embarrassment.' He said that a number of steps had been taken to improve the condition and that authorities are 'on top of the situation'. Principal Secretary to the PM, TAK Nair, who is also part of the high-powered committee mandated to oversee the smooth functioning of the Games, said that the government will take action and any wrongdoing, if detected, will not go unpunished.

Congress Party Spokesperson Manish Tiwari refused to comment, saying that Mr Kalmadi was there in his personal capacity, and not as a Congress MP. Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj said that this is a matter of national shame and would never have happened under the NDA regime. Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi congratulated Kalmadi on his narrow escape and wished for his speedy recovery.

Mr Kalmadi was unavailable for comments. His close aide, and spokesperson for the OC, Lalit Bhanot, took over the job to defend the OC and reiterated that these Games would be better than the Beijing Olympics.

Unconfirmed media reports have it that Mr Kalmadi has submitted a drycleaning bill to get his somewhat wet and stained white kurta-pyjama spotless clean and dry in time for the opening. While the amount is a subject of media speculation, it is rumoured that the bill runs into six figures.

SO MUCH ANGUISH IN MY HEART, DIFFICULT TO PUT IN FEW WORDS
by Inder Singh on Sep 24, 2010 11:25 PM  | Hide replies

Whats the fun in slamming them now when the image of the country is already tarnished all over the world. When all the early warnings by CWG chief had been ignored time and again by the same PM who time and again listened to false promises of this CM, Mr Suresh Kalmadi (who always gave a slogan of better than Beijing slogan)and Honorable Sports Minister Mr M S Gill(who's always so happy to have photos with athletes who win medal with their own efforts and rigorous efforts of their coaches and the same Sports Minister asks their coaches "who are you?" even to the international fame player himself like Pulela Gopichand , ex All England Badminton champion and coach of Saina Nehwal)

I would like some journalist to go to Mr Lalit Bhanot's residence and take photographs and show us all that his residence looks the same as the photos BBC site posted for Games Village so that at least we are sure that Mr Lalit Bhanot was right in telling the media that foreigners have different standards of hygiene.

I am so upset that after spending so much on games preparations that some papers claim to the tune of 77000 crores and with 6 years at hand to complete the work, the same government at Centre and at Delhi couldn't keep a check on the progress of the preparations and brought such a shame to the country's image.

Certainly all the OC members and office bearers and also the Sports Minister dont deserve to be called even at the inaguration or any event of the C

the event was not at all necessary....india has never been a sporting power.....when they dont have any idea abt sports (either the game or the grounds or the organization etc), what the heck can u expect out of these 100 metre joggers???? india should stop putting its third leg in every fuckinboat to simply prove to the world that we are into EVERYTHING!!!! till india gets 50 medals in olympics, international sporting events in india should be banned!!!
