These two people known for corruption, drinks, sex - let supreme court send them to jail. Check their bank deposits of them /their close relatives and announce as bankrupt. They had let the country down.

Sickening
by Mohnu on Sep 22, 2010 12:30 PM

If this disgraceful state of affairs, corruption, sheer greed and mismanagement does not goad our esteemed and honest Prime Minister in to tackling corruption on a war-footing, nothing ever will.

Also, if he doesn't do it, then nobody ever will, since all the other politicians are cut from the same cloth.

We also lose all credibility and our right to say we are a well-developed nation. No event of any major impact is likely to be held here for a long long long time.

I feel so sad, and furious at the same time.

CWG GIVES DELHI A SINKING FEELING
by LALLAN SINGH on Sep 22, 2010 12:30 PM

Thanks to gross mismanagement and corruption in managment of the preparations for the CWG and the related infrastructure... all credit for this goes to MS. Gill Jaipal Reddy, Sheila Digshit, Kalmadi-Bhanot duo, corrupt contractors and supply vendors and the crooked officials from Sports and Urban Development Ministry, DDA, NDMC, MCD and the Organising Committee of CWG INDIA'S REPUTATION AND NATIONAL PRIDE HAS BEEN TOTALLY SULLIED!! These people have spreadshit(quite literally) on India's reputation and now are shamelessly and brazenly to tell lies and sounding least concerned to brush off all what has been revealed.
Now I would suggest a solution to the problem .These worthies should spread more shit and filth in the Games Village and Sadiums so that world class atheletes withdraw from the CWG which will improve India's chances of winning more medals in the CWG.These folks should be given the task what they most skilled and suited to do--of spreading shit and filth all over. Maybe in that lies Delhi's and India's redemtion!!!!!

Time is of no factor in India. It never has been. Furthermore people should be held accountable. We India, have cut a sorry figure in front of the entire world. No one has a face now.

Colossal shame
by Aniruddha Kaul on Sep 22, 2010 12:28 PM

In the past, the country has hosted Asian Games, cricket World Cup, IPLs, and Asian Track and Field meets. The country also organizes an ATP event. We have both men and women boxers, hockey players, wrestlers, cricketers, tennis players, billiards players, weightlifters, shooters, chess players etc. of international standing. The national capital has usually been good hosts in international sporting events. Every now and then, there is a talk of hosting Olympics and Commonwealth Games in the country. Now, we are actually hosting CG, but this is unprecedented shame on any international event held in the country so far. Apart from financial misappropriation, now the question of basic human sanitation and habilitation has arisen. We must introspect as to how things have deteriorated to such an extent in a country that pioneered education, hygiene, science and mathematics. In our bid to reverse everything have we brought muck on ourselves?
