CWG Roof Collapse follows Bridge Collapse
by Ravindra Parasnis on Sep 24, 2010 04:24 PM

The story going around in Pune is that the news of the Bridge Collapse hit Suresh Kalmadi, our beloved 'Hat Trick' MP, rather hard. He suspected that some of the seriously injured workers may not even survive. Under the present hostile atmosphere prevalent against him in the country he thoght he may soon be imprisoned. Having made enough money to last his ten genrations in future and lived like a King (on people's money?), he felt he must avoid the disgrace of getting arrested. The only way out, thought he, was suicide. He chose to hang himself in the CWG complex. To our and his good luck, the ceiling collapsed and he survived without a scratch.
So, even bad and potentially dangerous contractual work has a silver lining. A precious life of our MP was saved.

CWG Roof Collapse
by Ravindra Parasnis on Sep 24, 2010 04:04 PM

Not just Suresh Kalmadi but his other colleagues, the whole lot of contractors, the CPWD, PWD, Madam Dixit and her Ministers, the Chief Secretary and his team and finally the Rt Hon PM Shri Manmohan Singhji and his Ministers are all responsible for this national shame. Who do we get to order an inquiry on them ? Her Majesty the Queen of England or the UN? But the inquiry is a must and the guilty must be punished without
sparing even the PM himself. We have heard enough about his clean image and well publicised honesty, if all that publicity is true that is. The fact is that if eveyone under him is corrupt, so is he, whether he himself eats money or not. May be, enjoying power is his way of enjoying corruption.

And yes, the contractors are generally accepted as corrupt individuals, who corrupt everyone else to bag contracts and make their money in every possible despicable way. In our country we not only accept them as they are but respect them for their wealth and show off and even give them civil awards. However, it is time we punished them for bad quality work and worse, endangering the life of their own workers as well as the user public, on whose money they are making merry.

When Prabhakaran decided to take on the IPKF, he was asked by one of his senior commanders as to why Prabhakaran was going to fight "Mother India". Prabhakaran replied that the "Mother India" of bygone days with Bose, Baghat, etc., was all gone and all that was left were corrupt "traders" in Delhi that would trade their own mothers if the price was right. When the commander still didn't quite agree with Prabhakaran, Prabhakaran predicted to him that he wait and see how these "traders" will one day trade "Mother" India itself. As for himself(Prabhakaran), he stood by his decision on the premise that these "traders" who would trade their own country would have no compunction to trade the freedom of the tamils in Sri-Lanka and he was not going to let that happen as long as he lived.
One can clearly see the "traders" full swing now....One wonders what will be left of "Mother" India in a few years......

"No wonder pirapakaran d ied like a d og"

Prabhakaran stuck to his words till the very end and never wavered from his goal. Any Indian politician in his shoes would have been bought out, looted the country's money and fled with his family to live a safe, comfortable life. Prabhakaran claimed from the beginning that he would either die comfortably and peacefully in Eelam or he would die on the battlefield fighting for Eelam. He died a warrior's death, you "traders" will never understand that. None of you "traders" will ever die for your country or your people.

"anyone trying to fiddle with mother india will meet the same faith."

Precisely my point you f00l. Your "traders" have been fiddling with "Mother" India for so long and now the fiddling is reaching proportions that will soon meet "Mother" India's doom. Mark my words, India will be brought down by the "traders" of India itself. No outside force is neccessary.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.
Well literally in India.
Once the sky is done falling, India will continue shining.

Mahatma Gandhi's soul must be churning somewhere ....
by Sanjay Reddy on Sep 22, 2010 06:52 PM

Please save India from these corrupt politicians. Congress would have pocketed 50% of the amount spent leaving it richer & the nation poorer in both money and invaluable reputation.

Mahatma Gandhi's soul must be churning somewhere as to how he has allowed this fake Gandhi family to rule India without any drop of integrity for 63 years.

We should have given the contract to the multinationals in that case the corruption could have occurred only in giving contract
