I don't think they can't simply becoz we can't may be even the worlds 100th powerful nation would have hosted it properly
india would not have bid for the CWG 2010, had not china won the bid for hosting the olympics 2008 @ beijing.as beijing was declared a big success,india wanted to match that by putting up a showcase event for an emerging india,& what a showcase it has been, the nation's neck has bent with shame. this is what happens when sports bodies are headed by politicians,this man gets an opportunity to fill his bank lockers once in 4 years when some mega event is being held,whereas his more fortunate brothers who are ministers are minting money for their full 5 year term.

Get ur stats correct dude. India bid for CWG during the BJP regime. Uma Bharti was the sports minister that time.I saw an interview where the reporter asks her wat prep are u making for CWG as snap came the reply from her "we have cwg in 2010. its 8 yrs from now.do u expect me to build infrastructure from now?It can be built within 1 yr"
we believe in that repoter but not delhi or indian police, As we all saw in mumabi even after serial local train blast , and ghatkopar bus blast etc ,we saw what happened in Taj hotel from kasab & Co. They dint bothered even after knowing everything to tighten security at sea level. from where they all came, shame to all coorupt people. this CWG should really be cancled , & no other event should happen here ,so that they dont get any chance of looting.
