Your consistent achievement in world boxing compares very well with the achievements done by our greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Viswanathan Anand and Leander Paes. You have done our country proud and I am sure you will be an example in Manipur for others to take to sports very seriously so that we can get some quality sports persons from Manipur.

Indians apologise to our Manipuri brothers and sisters for neglecting you but you are truly the jewels (manis) of India. We are proud of you.
"Magnificent Mary" is what she is called in the Indian boxing fraternity and she deserves the title. The mother of twins packs a whallop in the boxing ring.
This is the stuff of legend. We've heard of the resilience and courage of Indian women. Mary Kom embodies this with a special grace.
5 consecutive wins, and 6 medals in the World Championships is a fantastic achievement, not to mention a most consistent performance over the years.
If only Beijing 2008 had women's boxing, we'd have had another medal alongwith Abhinav Bhindra.
Here's looking forward to women's boxing being included in the 2012 olympics, and wishing Magnificent Mary all the very best for her future endeavours.
Congratulation Ms. Mary Com. Hats off to you for making Indian proud. She has really set example for all women life cannot stop even after getting married or having children. India is such a land with freedom and many opportunity where you can reach a moon if wisely taken a right path, eg. like sachin, gavaskar, even bhurkhawali sania or end in gutter, bars licking butts.
In a country where goons run Common wealth games and a barely talented Tennis star gets her money by creating controversy, this WORLD CHAMPION is virtually unkown to the rest of the India, i am pretty sure she is getting her expenses from a GOI job in Air India or Railways.
Hat's off to you mam. i never knew this that she is world champion 4 times in a row... see the state of media... always Cricket... really painful.. Good wishes to you mam.. really enjoyed knowing this.. u make every Indian Proud
