Indians have very poor standard for hygien
by Calspadeaspade on Sep 26, 2010 05:53 PM

At least now people are exposed. Look at our toilets. the whole world is going for WC. WE have these dirty low toilets. The first thing they should teach kids is hygien even before alphabets. Otherwise idiots like Lalith Benot will be makinfg stupid statements like western standard of hygien is too high. You cant say such things after arranging an international event.

Bring the brits back...
by dogsaveindia on Sep 22, 2010 06:47 AM

..to kick these brats out.

We are a hapless nation that knows nothing about good leadership. We are after all sheep.
The "Rajas" that rule us today are worse than the white lords we had and are probably worse than the real Rajas we had before the brits.
Its time to call this democratic experiment a failure and get some outside help; am all for the white overlords to take over and fix this sh*thole again.

We are in Deniel Mode...
by Passed on Sep 21, 2010 09:23 PM  | Hide replies

Ever since the corruption charges have started to fall on all aspects of constructions and management of CWG, all officials and politicians have gone in denial mode and no matter who they are, they do not see anything wrong going on anywhere.

First we had a sleeping government who did not even bother to look into matter when the cost started to go up like a rocket and then they gave blank cheques to all CWG related activities.

We have rains to blame, we have worker shortage to blame, we have terrorist to blame...but we don't have any officials to blame first for the delay, second for increased cost and last the shabby work performed.

While the whole thing should have been ready and tested month before the game start, so that any issue can be rectified on time, we are still going on with the contruction and that too getting delayed due to shabby work and rains.

Falling bridge, Unprepared rooms, Lapses in security and above all our denial is only making us a laughing stock in world. We could have taken this opportunity to show the world how we can manage things more efficiently but we turned it into an example of how mismanaged and corrupt we are.

It
by Bob Marley on Sep 21, 2010 09:16 PM  | Hide replies

was the stupid BJP govt which bid for games in 2003.

The idiots with their massive inferiority complex also believed that India was shining and had to prove it to everyone.

Now we'll end up being a joke in the western media.

Kalmadi is another idiot. I used to think that people of Pune were smart but I guess they are just like him.

Ask anyone in pune, everybody knows he is corrupt to his core. But somehow people in pune are stupid to elect him in spite of knowing about his corruption.

Obviously not - according to you - coz the Indian IT industry has grown "DESPITE" the government not because of it....

Any comments?

The arrogant wannabe white Punjabis cannot even manage simple construction projects and the whole city reeks of feces. They have bought shame to the entire country.

Maybe we should give delhi away to Pakistan so the punjabis can be with their bretheren.

Calcutta/Delhi/Mumbai/Chennai are also the same.

I visited Chennai and it was probbaly the dirtiest city I have ever seen.

Delhi was also no better.

All Indian cities stink. Too many people and no facilities.

A man has to take a dump to survive you know?

In 2004 Chandrababu Naidu organised Afro Asian games with the same Kalmadi heading it. It all boils down to the leadership, if the ppl at the helm are corrupt and not bothered abt the image of the country this is what we get
