I urge all Indian sports lovers to boycott Cricket news covered through media. India Govt should introduce a Precious award above Khel Ratna which has become priceless now offered to many ineligible person. This award say in the name of Dhyanchand- the first indian sports person who has made India Proud- than any Politician, may be awarded to those excell in the sports where at least 50 countries are competent enough. And this should not be awarded for one time achievement like ONE Olympic/ World championship Gold medal but for continuous dominance of minimum 4 years. Then according to me there are only few deserving it like Anand Viswanathan M C Marycom Pankaj Advani- not sure
Congrats Mary Kom. But this edition also highlighted that the domination by India in this discipline is almost over. We just got two medal while we were champions in 2006. Boxing Association should analysis what went wrong before London Olympics. Since becoming the olympic discipline women boxing has become competitive but this does not mean we should also lose the edge.
News channels cover sachin and the likes of cricketers and make it a headline even if they visit a nearest mall . These guys might have done some individual records but have not done anything that makes nation proud! congratualtion Kom!
These boxers and wrestlers are making our country proud, but are treated without respect, not recognised in a right manner, and shameless politicians make a fool of themselves when they win and come back like our impotent sports minister who wanted a photo shoot only with the wrestler not his mentor so that he can show his grandchildren, we have the talent but not tapped hope the sleeping govt. of the day wake up, so more glory is on the way
Shame on media news channels Aajtak etc.No one make it breaking news ...ya for them if saniya losses or gain one rank from her current 143 THAT IS THE BREAKING NEWS.

people like your mentality are the main CANCER IN our country who asked you the religion of mary, she won it for the country, try to grow up dont drag religion into everything, every religion has contributed to success of various sports
