Beating world class tennis players is not a small thing.But Bopanna & somdev has done with the help of senior players paes & bhupathy.Beluchi was escaped from defeat at the hands of Bopanna on the first day.But today he is very cool and played confident tennis overall.Surprised to see a lower rank tennis player to beat a player who is in 75th rank.That's the sprit of our great tennis team.Paes has done wonders before and still doing with bhupathi.Let the cricket mad people can appreciate this great effort.
Great to see Indian sports going through a purple patch: Markykoms and sushil kumars gold at world championships, Saina's growth and Sanias WTA title today, and now the Davis cup victory. Hope the cricketers follow suit in the serise against Aussies. They are No1 at the moment, so hopefully should round off a great sporting year!

Such a thing happened way back in 1965 when our Ramanathan Krishnan won a 5 set thriller against Brazilian Thomas Koch to make the score 3-2 and made the Indians proud.

you are right my friend.My father told me abt this .India was facing match point in the doubles game then. Rediff Has zero GK.
Its really a hard fought win.....congrates to whole indian team....and also to bellucie who has got injured and after that fotunes changes very quickly for indian team....
