I'm pretty sure, had u concentrated only on singles, u would have definitelt made it to the Top 30 ....You were one of the chip & volley player rarely seen in modern day tennis...

Leander-Mahesh together were a devastating pair in early days and could have won easily a lot of grandslams in doubles had they played together for a long time.....

Not to mention his Davis cup triump. He is amazing while representing a nation. May be among Top 5 Davis Cup great played for their nation. Remember him beating Arnaud Bausch in France in Davis Cup semifinal. True Indian Spirit.

Might I add, he overcome a lot of physical limitations (He was only about 5 ft 7) and gave world class players a run for their money. He even beat Pete Sampras once at the Pilot Pen Open.
