Re: Djokovic stands a great chance

This year has been the easiest draw for nadal upto the final. For the betterment of tennis and the civilized humans as a whole, novak has to win. Unlike roger, who is 29 yrs old, novak is younger than nadal and hence in prime of his career.
There is hardly any argument about who is going to win this one. After Nadal has achieved the 'Career' Grand Slam, next yer, he is going to have a crack at The Grand Slam by winning all four big ones. Who is going to stop him?
Definitely the rain break will work to Djokovic's advantage. He was clearly on the brink in the game against Fedex.Rafa plays 5 setters back to back without batting an eyelid like @2009 Aus OPen against Verdasco and Fedex, but I dont think Djokovic is the same.
Looks like even rain gods do not want nadal to win. By canceling the day's play both the players now get an extra day of rest. Particularly djokovic after playing a marathon five setter in the semis would be trid to play the next day itself.

'Even' the rain gods dont want him to win? What does that mean? The only ppl who dont want him to win are the frustrated FedEx fans, and that isn't a big number.
djokovic after winning the semi-finals against federer, in a titanic fight lasting nearly 4 hours, had requested & appealed to the usa authorities, to postpone the match to monday night. the USTA refused to budge, however the rains came to djokovic's help. now the match will be a classic & djokovic has a chance to upset nadal.

If Djokovic win the first two sets or the first set then he has a clear chance. djokovic upset victory is definitely on the cards.
I sacrificed my sleep to watch this match but rain messed it up. Nadal has upper hand in rain disturbed matches normally and absurd Fedex fans may blame Nadal for Rains too, poor chaps.
