Buck UP Nadal
by Amrit Singh on Sep 12, 2010 10:48 AM

It is so energizing to see Nadal playing his power game. What Fed did @ 27 age i.e Career Slam. Nadal has the chance to do that @ 24. so All the best Nadal.

It is unlikely that he changed his grip at all. No-one changes their grip a few days before playing a grand slam, especially someone who has been on the tour as long as Nadal has, and has had the success that Nadal has (maybe a "desperate" player who is dropping fast in the rankings might try it).

It just adds to the suspicions that people who have played before have about Nadal (fortunately for Nadal, most of his "fans" never played the game before Nadal came along).

Nadal is a right hander who does everything righthanded except play tennis.

Because of that Federer has said that sometimes playing him is like playing a man with two forehands.

However the snap of wrist that one gets with the normal hand to impart greater ooomph to the serve at point of contact was something he did not have.

He has worked on that with his left hand and that has made the difference.

from tennishasasteroidproblem ..

The funny thing with Nadal is that, every time you think it could not get weirder, it does.

We had the mysterious knee injuries and the mysterious treatments (laser at the USO 2007, PRP before RG 2010à.

We had the wild variations in muscle mass and his 2009 slump.

And now just when you think you've seen it all, suddenly Nadal drops at the US Open equipped with the most formidable serve, he who according to uncle Toni had no serve to speak of when he came on the Tour in 2003. Right now, Nadal has better stats on serve than peak Sampras in three of his victorious US Open runs (93, 95, 96) and he serves faster than Federer.

Obviously this Nadal is a talented, hard-working fellow :-). Although it requires probably more talent for the tennis commentators to keep a straight face when gushing about Nadal's extraordinary improvements.

from tennishasasteroidproblem ..

While Nadal was in Spain in the break, he was constantly seen at Real Madrid's preparation matches and training camps, he gave at least 3 to 4 tv program interviews (these are usually half a day affairs) and also showed up in various charity events.

Yeah, it must have taken him half a day to change the grip... Or half an hour... Everyone has sold their soul to the devil. Commentators, ATP and so on, know they only make the money because tennis is taken semi seriously. If the cheat Nadal is uncovered, the sport will be ruined for 5 years at least. They can't afford that...

Federer vs Nadal
29 yrs vs 24 yrs
fed never retire in a match ----Nadal no need to say, happen in 2010 once
3 GS 3 TIMES ---- 3 GS ONLY 1 TIME IF HE WIN US
6 WIM ----- 2 WIM
5 US -------1 US (IF)
4 AUS ------1 AUS
1 FRENCH ---5 FRENCH
285 WEEK NO 1 -- 106 WEEK
237 WEEK CONS NO 1-- 60 WEEK NO 1
23 sEMI CONS GS ---- NOT KNOWN
But even then fed does not know how to play.
Why ?
He did not have good record against Nadal.
He did not win all these GS final against Nadal.
So now same equation should apply to Nadal. Beause Fed is not ATB because fed did not beat him in all GS.
So for Nadal to be best , he should beat Fed in all GS court, by seeing today match, it is imposible for nadal to beat fed in US, beause I donot think Fed at 29 will able to reach next year US final.
So it mean Nadal can not become ATB beause he did not fed in US.
This is not my reasoning, this is reason given by all nadal fan, why fed is not ATB.
So simple math should be winner is always winner, should not be a matter of other person who could not reach final.
Now fed could not reach final & if nadal win he win US.
Stop hating Fed & nadal both are great, it is a matter of ATB which will be decided by end of Nadal carier

i will not go anywhere
if murray did not play nadal at us open
so because of h-h murray is great.
where was nadal when fed won 6 wim , 5 us, 4 aus.
donot say at that time he did not know to play.
have u seen last yr
fed was in us final & nadal not
so it was fed final.
when u toss a coin, it is not gurantee head will come , some time tail also come.
when he win 5 wim , he can be beaten, even gaet pete & laver got beaten.
nadal has game but h-h is good when nadal & fed played all final.
before aus open final, if u remeber, every media report fed played 2 hrd , nadal played 5 hr, so even if fed win it is fake. fed got more rest.
where was same media when fed was no 1 , no complaints.
only one time he is no2 all complaints by his hater.
if u have anything than h-h than write.
i ask u same question again , fed is not in final, i do not think he will reacfinal again, so if fed & nadal did not meet at us open again, tommorow nadal victory is fake.
can u reply it

Rafa will win the US Open
by Another Critic on Sep 12, 2010 01:24 AM  | Hide replies

I am watching the second semi finals between Federer and Djokovic. I hope Federer wins the semi finals so he gets beaten by Rafa in the final making Federer the one to lose finals in all grand slams against Rafa.

I am an huge Rafa fan and am sure Rafa will win US Open. I am praying to god that Federer win the semis so he loses to Rafa in the finals.

I don't have a doubt that Rafa will not win the US Open but it is just that a win against Federer in the finals would make it more special for Rafa.

Vamos Rafa.

Oh God God God, please do something to take Federer to finals so Rafa can take care of Federer in the finals.

sorry buddy... Federer out of US open.. 7-5,1-6,7-5,2-6,5-7. Look at the points on the two sets he won... and the three that Djokovic won... that suggests the capacity of Federer now a days... His days of Prime is gone.. Now he is over ripe and losing.. Vamos Rafa..

hehehehe... first ask Federer to learn a few lessons on how to play NOW on hardcourts... Don't harp about his 5 time US open slam... Its PAST...talk about PRESENT... Federer lost miserably to Djokovic!!!

Murray...he could not win against Nadal in his own back yard, Wimbledon.

Del Potro...ha ha ha...Does he have any address? Can he win one more slam?

He is just 24 and had won 8 slams and in a day he will be making it 9...all faking injuries.

Ha ha ha...go sleep dude...2-2 sets each and the final set is going on. Read in the tomorrow's newspaper if Federer will be in the finals.

Either way, with the way Federer and Djokovic are playing, do you really think they have a chance against Nadal in the finals.

Rafa's game is way better and you will wait and see.

I agree... did you see how Federer lost the last game on 4th set deliberately so that he can start the serve on the 5th set... Poor fellow... ended up loosing the game anyways...!!!
