Sad to see Federer out!
by nisha thoas on Sep 12, 2010 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

Federer is the greatest of all time no question! I think he played like 50 pc of his capabilities and djokovic took advantage of that. I would have loved a fed nadal final, as Fed would surely have beaten nadal, whos way too one-dimensional and does not have federers variety and class.

Federer fans....u r lucky that you wont see Federer crying again after US open final match. Rafa would have definitely crushed him in the final.

And.......where r bango tango and others who used to write for Federer:-). Federer was extremely lucky to add number of slams to 16 thanks to Rafa's injuries and separation of his parents in 2009)....it should have been 14. He got French open and wimbleden in charity from Rafa. Rafa rules......

Greatest of all time.?????????????? If u r the greatest, ur record against all your contemporary players must ne in your favour....and that doesnt satisfy against Rafa:-)...on clay Rafa is too good for Fed.....on other surfaces his record againsr cry baby is equally good.

Tennis is about winning against the rest of the field -- by your logic Davydenko is better than Nadal as he leads the H2H 5-4, Krajicek is better than Sampras as he leads the H2H 6-4. Liking Nadal does not mean you have to dislike Federer. Nadal may become the greatest of all time in the future, just as Fed is today.

that one dimension of nadal is too much for fedex... his has time and again demonstrated how the multidimensional federer chickens out infront of him....

Rafa can do it!!
by kieran dsouza on Sep 12, 2010 02:28 PM

He is the most consistent player so far not dropping a single set. Federer was lucky to lose to Djokovic otherwise he would have been thrashed by Nadal in the final.

Anyway, this should be an interesting final!!

federer's
by shazNwhaz on Sep 12, 2010 02:06 PM

time is over..now he is not that old federer anymore...he should now retire and he will always be remembered as the greatest trnnis player of all time..if he continues to play he can just qualify till 4th round or a maximum upto quarterfinals...and not more than that...now nadal rules and will continue to rule in the coming years no one can beat him not even roger federer..

Ms Swathi, calling a great player as Djoker, does not looks good. Shows ur ugly mind.

And, Rediff please update ur sports knowledge by saying Djokovic is World no 3. It is not no.3 should be No 02. No3 is Fedex.

And, we are so happy that Nadal is gonna make it 9 today. Go Rafa Go

Fed not only lost but also took all the energy out of joker making life easier for nadal..

Having faced no competing players,if nadal wins us open,he knows he was lucky to win

Final is Over, Nadal will get one set??only if djokovic too tired ..Roger really missed chance here to win against Nadal in straight set.
Murray lost in earlier thus the reason lucky nadal entered in final
