Shut-up and play

i think this joke 'stop war start tennis' has gone too far.. indians and pakis have played together even in the ipl... playing for the same team..
suddenly bopanna and qureshi seem to think they are the messiah of sorts. hope they play the game without creating politics and talking about war, etc.

Presure
by narayana rao on Sep 10, 2010 04:13 AM

there is undue presure put by PAK on Qureshi. Where as Bopanna is free of that and only expectation. Hope Friday is better for them. All the best.

Congratulations to Rohan. However, to say that India-Pak can be friends is plain silly. We don't want to be friends with a nation whose sole agenda is disintegration of our motherland

Do you really want indian players/atletes to combine forces and play as a unit? Havent you been reading the match-fixing the paki players are involved with? Now, you want the Indian players to get a bad name too thanks to their association with Paki players ?? Use your brain .. if you have one !!!

This is about two indpendent individuals playing Grand Slam tennis where the respective countries are not represented. Pak is an enemy country and is not to be trusted.

Congrats Bopanna/Qureshi

Great match yesterday. Both of them seved well. Thankfully Zeballos's curve was broken in the second set and we got an easy win. It will be tough playing the Bryan brothers.

What they Indo-Pak pair need to improve on is return of serve. They both have a fantastic serve.

Good Luck

SR
