CORRUPT attitude
by anuradhakumari on Sep 08, 2010 11:19 PM

with only corruption in mind, this so called fiasco (CWG) will go a long way for world to realise our mentality!
some say, we Indians must support the CWG in true spirits for the COUNTRY and sports but at the same time those who expect this from helpless and innocent indians are silent on the free, unbridled loot power of some great indians who think everything except the Reputation of our motherland and for the value of sports?????
Any convincn answer?????? from any Great Indian (sorry, we have ceased to be Great)

Read the congratulatory message of Jacques Rogge Prez of Intl Olympic Committee on Beijing Olympic anniversary celebration (not the games) it is a shame that India may not even get such a remark even partially-"I would like to congratulate the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality n d founding organisational members,
including the Chinese Olympic Committee, for having established such a commendable initiative, which shows how sport can be used as a vehicle to bring people together n as a means for positive change in society by carrying forward the Olympic spirit."
The CWG in India has already created a loot mentality n all players in d govt look like petty thieves but amassing millions of rupees. On a same note to compare the London bid for olympics was with a shortfall of facilities in the transport system. London has already initiated several measures to tackle the issue many years in advance to be in time for 2012.(London's public transport was an element of the bid which was scored poorly in the IOC's initial evaluation.) Transport for London (TfL) are carrying out numerous improvements in preparation for 2012, including the expansion of the London Overground's East London Line, upgrades to the Docklands Light Railway and the North London Line, n d introduction of a new "Javelin" high-speed rail service, using d Hitachi Corpn's "bullet" trains.TfL also propose the constru

That is why the British were able to rule over the world. India is struggling to meet basic requirements forget remarkable high standards. It is not the resources that we lack but the politicians that are corrupt and making money at the expense of the common man.

useless govt
by Jugal Ahuja on Sep 08, 2010 10:41 PM

what can u say about this govt, which says that the CWG is india's mirror to the world, & then delays the completion of the venues & games village, till the date of the opening ceremony.this govt is really useless, led by a man who in his 1st innings as pm became assertive only on the ocasion of passing the indo-us civil nuclear agreement bill, & in his 2nd innings opened his mouth in the parliament during the passage of the indo-us nuclear liability bill.his only interest is to keep usa happy.he has nothing to say about the abominable inflation which has made common food items out of the reach of 70% of the country's population.was sitting idle & not aware of the scams unfolding in the CWG,& became active only when the media published one corruption story after another.has no vision regarding the J&K situation, similarly in the case of the naxalites.agrees to pakistan's acusation of india having a hand in balochistan's uprising.what more can u expect from a govt led by such a man,who is ready to let the foodgrains rot on the fields but will not give it to the BPL population as directed by SC.

We should get the athletes from CWG Countries come here on Oct3 and help us in constructing Stadiums. Once done, we give them complimentary medals and send them back.
