Andy Murray has been a victim of British Press, which has been projecting him as a kind of messiah for the sporting hero starving UK, who is bordering on the fringe of greatness. He has made the mistake of reading too much into his victories over Roger Federer in non-Slams, and occasional victory over an injured Nadal, and has been imagining things, which are just beyond him. The fact is, that Federer and Nadal are two of the greatest players ever to have played Tennis, and Andy Murray, misguided by the euphoria created by the British Press, has been thinking of surpassing them. He should reconcile to the fact that he is currently World no. 4, which is no mean achievement. Sooner or later, he is bound to get a chance in a Grand Slam event in which both Nadal and Federer would be indisposed, and he can expect to take that chance. In this era otherwise, he has to be satisfied with occasional Masters series titles.

Soderling will surpass him and will be the No. 04 even though if he lost his qtr final match against Fedex.
And, we should also consider that last year US open winner (Del Petro frm Arg) is not playing due to his knee injury, once he will be back then it will be a good fight for top 5 spots.

OK. Being no. 5 is also okay. And Del Potro is having a wrist injury, and not a knee injury.
It does not matter so long as he makes millions by even reaching last 4.This is the reflection on British society that no longer wants to achieve highest by making sacrifices but thrive on others hard work.
