she could win medals in some super series event or commonwealth games where there will be no chinese players participating. it is too early to judge her talent and government had made mistake in awarding her khel ratna award for which there r several other good nomainations wh deserved the award more than sania

This is SAINA, and not SANIA. SANIA is not at all a player. Just a show piece that wears attitude as if has won 10-15 Grand Slams. Even SAINA is not a great player. But better than SANIA fo sure! Media needs to let her alone and practice like chinese players who never get media attention unless they have done something out of the world.
Disappointed with Miss Nehwal's comment that India is incapable of organizing events like the CWG. I appreciate her achievements and have respect for her as a sportswoman who concentrates solely on her sport rather than doing advertisements. But she should have been a bit careful in making comments about India's capability of organizing big sports events.

Saina is straight-forward & right in saying that India is incapable of organizing CWG. Look at all corruption happened & shamless faces like Kalmadi are still holding their seats. Worst of all, Congress Govt. have declared support to all corrupt officials in CWG scam.

If you hear the entire comment she has said that she has seen the games organisation in melbourne and olympics in china and in compare to them she says that perhaps India is not ready for holding the games.

She would have better kept her opinion with herself. She could have given her opinion after the games were over. There may be flaws in the organization of this Games, but a leading sportsperson like her shouldn't belittle her own country. I don't say that she should sound pseudo-patriotic, but imagine what the people around the world think when they hear what Saina has to say about her own country's capabilities. Does Sunil Gavaskar on some other sporting icon say like that. They too must be aware about the problems in the organization. One has to say that she sounded immature !!

She should defend her country when the outsiders criticise the Indians. Look have Sunil Gavaskar or Sourav Ganguly defend their country when the foreign pundits belittle India on various issues.
It will be possiblly first time , Two Indian great ladies( girls) in sports- Sania and Saina contesting in SAME Complex. Medal is Sure for BOTH. It is interesting to see Who brings Gold and who the Silver.
