Fedex,concentrate on your own game!
by Anuraug Rathor on Sep 06, 2010 03:00 PM  | Hide replies

Fedex is clerly rattled and frustrated that his total domination is over, and that Rafa is instrumental. He is now holding on to non -issues like Rafa not winning the US Open,etc...he should remember how long it took himself to win the French, and that too in Rafa's absence. Also he has never won the Olympic Gold.So if your gonna argue on technicalities, remember that it works both ways.Fedex....concentrate on your own game. Then maybe your lame duck fans(like my clone) can stop spending all their time monitoring Rafa's game and arguing endlessly tryin to demean Rafa instead of concentrating on their own hero.

Media is just sensationalizing the whole thing.Go through the interview carefully..he has never belittled nadal or his achievements. He said nadal is young n he definitely has a shot at the title. Its up to u to interpret it in any manner that you want.remember all good things come to an end...if its federer's turn now it will b nadal's turn sometime soon. thats how it is..so lets wait n c...

True, lets wait and see...and Fedex fans need to do that much more instead of trying to bring Rafa down.

Nadal not best.......
by Anurag Rathore on Sep 06, 2010 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

This time its going to be difficult for Nadal. All his matches have been close even against the lesser known players. He will lose soon may be in the quarters or semis. Just wait and see.

Nadal has still long way to go.......
by Anurag Rathore on Sep 06, 2010 12:32 PM  | Hide replies

He should win at least three GS in a year to show complete domination in a year which Federer has done thrice. I still thinks Nadal is below from his best. He was on peak in 2008. Nadal has lost 7 matches this year aginast different opponents.

Federer is right
by Guest on Sep 06, 2010 10:00 AM  | Hide replies

There is only two players in men's tennis upon whom the discussions seem to circulate. This only show how much nadal and federer have dominated the rest of the field winning most of the titles amoungst them.

Nadal has won most masters titles which is only best of 3 sets. Grand slams is what people take into considerations when talking about greatness. In such a scenario nadal lags behind federer by a huge margin and is also yet to win a single US open title.

Nadal is yet to make it even to the finals at the US open, which has the fastest hard court. If clay courts were federer's weaknes then he has won it once and made it to the finals more than once. This is what federer points out.

If not being able to win the US Open is the hurdle due to which, Federer is not willing to grant Nadal his due place in history, that hurdle is going to be removed in about a week's time.
With Murray gone, there is no one to stop Nadal from winning this time.

The media makes it sound as if he is making fun of Nadal, though he has showered more praises. But anyway, Rafa will win the US open sooner or later.

True masters
by Kiran M on Sep 05, 2010 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

Federer, Sampras, Giggs, Tendulkar, Pele, Dravid, Michael Jordan, ....

All great masters cause they've done it all and that too remained at the very top consistently for so many years and yet, till today, you do not hear them blowing their own trumpets.

Guess that's the major difference between the club of 'greatest ever' and 'champions'.

Hats off to them all!

How in the hell did Dravid get in this list of yours unless you are rom KArnataka.Get off your rabid parochial mental make up. Be fair. And why not have Lara and pnting as well. both these are in fact better than Tendulkar on many counts.
