With this attitude, you will out of the league in no time. EPL is so fiercely competitive, if you aim to be 10-12 and you admit in public you will end up being relegated.It will also be very demoralising for your players and also the management team.
Further since you are expecting to be only 10 -12 then the players who would have aimed for the top 4 would play a more relaxed game now. Anyway those were poor choice of words in the public domain and that too even before you have bought the club, spoken to the players and the management team assessed their abilities.
While I am proud that an Indian company buying a EPL team, but disappointed with your approach.

if a player want to join EPL,he need british work permit,for that INDIA SHOULD be atleast 75 in fifa ranking.(now 144).otherwise sunil chetri will be in english second divsion(he got offer but denied work permit).baichung is old ,he himself not intrstd,better jeje,fela,kasamwoshi..

They are not doing it as a social work to encourage sportsmen of any particular country. They are investing in it as a pure Business venture visibility.

I agree with milind but venkys can just raise there brand name by giving our players an opportunity to play EPL...i bet you that it will be a huge positive for Venkys as a company...
