...is like the tiger tasting blood(of corruption)in the Indian jungle which is engulfed with full blown fire of corruption. There is no stopping the tiger from bleeding the jungle animals to death till the fire envelops the tiger too!!
Because Indian people will get to see the extent of corruption in government activities. First prize catch was Kalmadi and now the CEO of Prasar Bharati. This clearly shows that there is no system of checks and balances in most government activities. It is unclear as to how Prasa Barathi CEO got away with this day light robbery. What was Jaipal Reddy doing, twiddling his thumbs or pretending to be too drunk when under his very nose, such a thing took place. The whole thing is so nauseating, to say the least...

Looks like, if you take the quantum of bribes paid, the actual cost of conducting CWG was below Rs.50,000 cr. The inflated cost of 70,000 cr. took care of all the bribes paid. Mind you, all this was tax payer's money.
India got the second position only because it was CWG and not Olympic.I appreciate they did better in CWG compare to past but when they land into Olympic things are not gonna change.Reason the main rivals like USA,Russia,China are not part of CWG but Olympic so when they will face competition from these countries then the medal tally would be in thier favor as there are only three type of medals Gold,Silver and Bronze and most of these would be consumed by these three countries even if they miss there will be others to step in and claim it and India will return empty handed apart from one or two gold.
Only thing is that bilateral tournaments for atheletics should be initiated, like cricket. Also challenger tournaments in wrestling, boxing etc will be huge success. One should not wait for Asiads or Olympics only. Already we are leaders in Badminton, table tennis, wrestling, boxing, tennis, shooting etc. WADA should be bypassed in these challenger tournaments as it is most suspicious organization with dubious motives.
The moment CBI exposed BJP's Mittal for corruption, BJP realized offence being the best of defence and tried to drag in the PM, who ordered the enquiry in the first place just o mislead the people. If Mittal has been that clean, why has he been hastily removed from BJP's membership as an admission of guilt by the party ? Or do they read about the shape of things to come better than others ?

Fool. Congress is just using the I-T to show BJP in poor light. Why suddenly from past 3 - 4 days the media has diverted attention from Congressis involved in corruption to soem obscure BJP leader ?????????? This is just diversionary tactics by Congress to sheild their corrupt leaders.
but don't wait for Asiads or Olympics. Go for bilateral tours for atheletics. Our atheletics team should tour Australia. It will be huge hit. Take the boxers and wrestlers also.
but don't wait for only olympics or asiads. Go for challenges such as Poonia vs Australian discuss thrower. It will help atheletics. There should be regular bilateral atheletic events. Our atheletes should tour Australia, and other countries. It will be huge hit.
Apart from many nationalistic initiatives taken up by groups like that of Olympic gold quest or Mittal foundation, there are some other factors also which lead to India's superlative performance in the CWG which also include the very significant home crowd, this benefit comes to all host nations.
However, most critical reason is that most of the times when contingents are sent for participation in sporting events in foreign countries, the number of officials outwits the number of sports persons in the Indian contingent. So,I earnestly request Indian Olympic Association to take Asian games or Olympics or other sporting events seriously as a matter of national pride rather than pleasure trip for arm chair sports administrators...we need to have more quality athelets and less white elephant administrators in the contingents..
