Even before Beckham, Rudd van Nistelrooy, Jaap Stam and Diego Forlan left ManU mainly because of difference with Ferguson

That is not true in the case of Rooney. He was already a big star with everton(that is why ManU paid 25M pounds). If you look back at that transfer, ManU exploited and gained from that. So what goes around comes back as well. So it is payback time for ManU.
