Replying to Tendulkars fame in the UK
by Rizwan Khan on Oct 19, 2010 03:57 PM  | Hide replies

I am talknig of average people who do not follow sports. They have not heard of tendulkar. Regarding Rooney i hardly think he reads newspapers. and the mainstream papers in the UK hardly cover cricket. I am pretty sure that Wayne Rooney would not know who Tendulkar is.! The average person in the UK would not have a clue who he is. The only people knowing tendulkar would be sports loving fans but mostly cricket fans. The rest sadly who not know him! If someone should rooney this article he would say. Who is tendulkar? maybe he would google him to find out who he is...

Atleast after Googling, he will find Sachin is the best ever to played a game called Cricket which is very famous in a country called India(Because, being a football player, there is never a single chance for him to know abt a country called India).. And, the old greats who have played that game of cricket all praising that short man as the best ever to playedd the game.. He will learn by googling itself dude..

British, Aussie, India and World Media is going ga ga over our own Masters Performance. For me Sach is life. Even if you are not playing cricket, what ever you do in your own profession try to be a decent, truthful Tendulkar. This article gives immese pleasure to me as an Indian. Its difficult for Ronney to learn and very difficult to implement without discipline and honesty. Certainly he can take some inspiration by watching Sachin Masterclass. Take A BOW Master. We all are privileged to born in this era and watch you play cricket.

It is not a comparison at all. Where is rooney and where is this 10dulkar. Football is a universal sports and cricket is nothing. Rooney is greater than sachin even in his bad form.

Dear its not fault of Tendulkar that cricket is been playing in 10-15 countries and its not because of Rooney the Football is universal sport.

May be football is more popular than cricket, but Rooney is not a great player. Sachin is great sportman, having a bigger than life image and respected worldwide. Not only Rooney but many other great footballer our times has to learn a lot from him.

yes i agree there is no comparision at all.......Rooney who has not proved his mantle at the world stage doesnot stand any where near SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR.by the way i can understand u r rooney fan......like Rooney u laso have learn giving respect and accepting the fact when u r wrong instead making reasons. he is out of form accept that as rooney fan and urge him by any means to put extra miles so that he can get back to form instead of writing these meaningless views........

rooney is no where to be compared with sachin-the great. sachin is an icon and brand ambassador for a sport named cricket, whereas rooney is just mere a player in a sport named football or soccer or whatever it is. if he is such great, then why didnt he score even a single goal last worldcup dud??

Can you name a player who is not selfish and don't plays for himself ?

And more over every English football players are over-hyped, plays only for their clubs and money, not for their nation. But on contrast, Sachin has always gave better performance when he played for team India than Mumbai Indian.

thats your individual opinion or opinion of few people, It can be respected by your like minded friends. So as per your rationale Bradman, Lara or Hadlee, WG Grace etc should be average players and Balvinder Sandhu should be great bowler than probably Allan Donald.
Kid, listen here... as per mass media, and majority world sports followers.. Kapil, Dhyanchand and Vijendra are small potatoes compared to Tendulkars sporting greatness..Get this in you dung laced brain..
Tendulkar is one in 50 years phenomenon, Kapil is one in 5 years phenomena. Kapil was not even half better bowler than the West indies greats.
Tendulkar is ...understand this..he is..the greated batsman the sport has ever seen after the Great Don Bradman

Kapil is once in 5 year phenomenon ?

Kapil started to play in 1978( i think). 32 years and you don't have another Kapil Dev. Kapil , Sachin and to a lesser extent Gavaskar are once a century players

Very true... India has produced ONLY 4 real heroes.... APJ Abdul Kalam is another clown in the same class as Sachin Tendulkar, Leander Paes, Saina, Prakash Padukone, Kashaba Jadhav, the 11000 hockey players in the last 70 years, and the soldiers of the Indian Army...

All the above is true just because of one sole reason - your milligram sized brain... :)

HOW CAN FOOTBALL BE COMPARED TO CRICKET
by test on Oct 19, 2010 02:46 AM  | Hide replies

CRICKET IS NOT HALF COMPETETIVE AS FOOT BALL AND THIS JOKER IS COMPARING IT WITH FOOT BALL..

SACHIN HAS SCORED RUNS AGAINST A POOR AUSTRALIAN ATTACK..WHENEVER HE HAD TO SCORE AGAINST MCGRATH ,HE FAILED..TODAY HE SCORED 200 AGAINST A TEAM WHERE ALMOST ALL BOWLERS HAVE PLAYED AROUND 15-20 TEST MATCHES..

CRICKET IS JUST DEAD..THERE ARE NO LEGENDS LIKE WASIM,DONNALD,POLLOCK..SACHIN HAS JYST 2 CENTURIES IN AUSTRALIA IN ONE DAYERS..JUST 2?? EVEN THOSE TWO WERE HIT WHEN AUS WAS ON DOWN FALL
