No need. They already finished 70% of the work. Now it is only 2010. They will probably complete by 2012 and hold test events and get enuf time to iron out the creases.

It was not Kalmadi who finished things in nick of time but PMO which stepped in at last minute.

R U Nuts....2/3 Weeks, we wont get anything back even after 2-3 decades
we are dont have any hopes b4 conducting CWG, but the way india conducted the players performed, now this is milestone for india as well for world, we are conduted the games in very good manner and last minute preperation kept india ahead, i would like thanks all those people involved in this, now the time for media to share this movement to all indians as well for world, b4 cwg media was creticising noe they have share massage all,
Dispite one lane being dedicated for CWG delegates, staff, athletes etc., the traffic was well organized and smooth sailing with presence of traffic cops all along the roads leading to various venues and Games Village. Never have I seen so organized traffic.
Today, the first day after CWG, I find the chaos back on roads with two wheelers wizzing n zigzagging past cars, autos ruling the roads as if it belongs to them resulting in jams.
Sheila ji - a shout out to you! Well done!! but can we have traffic cops on roads at regular intervals to manage the traffic.
With one lane back for public, why is that trafifcs seems to heading for jams, while with one lane clsed, it was smooth sailing (read driving)?!?!?!?!

Wait for 2 more days. The situation will return back to Pre-CWG level. You will find beggars on the road, people pissing and defecating openly, people breaking traffic rules, etc.
Budiya Delhi CM Sheila Dixit has suddenly gone into a PR overdrive and is visible on all TV news channels giving interviews about the success of CWG. Some 15 days ago she was running away from the media and even if they managed to get her she passed the buck to other departments and ministries. This is the best example of "If the going is good then it is because of me; If it is a failure then it is because of others". She is a true follower of Sonia Gandhi who follows the same principle with MMS.

This is the pre-requisit and a must qualification to be a successful politician !!
Spectacular indeed! But the national broadcaster could not match the proficiency and excellence of private broadcasters. The stearotype and stale style of focus and intercutting cannot be appreciated. Sound recording was such that most of the spoken words were not clear. However, the areal views were good. Given the much hyped negative media publicity things were not expected as these have ended up. It is a matter of pride for every Indian. However, the accountability factor must not be forgotten. All those on whose integrity fingers have been raised must be appriately taken to task. -Yashpal Kalra
