purpose of CWG to motive the sportsmen to get ready for bigger events like OLYPMICS & others. Winning is one thing which will make sports personnel to go forward and work towards that.
Having said, corruption cannot be excused. Kalmadi & his team should be thoroughly investigated and brought in front of the law if they are proven guilty for all charges
lets not forget that these medals are due to the hardwork of our athletes and not due to kalmadi and corrupt company...these shameless people had done nothing to lift the standards of these people....and when now our athletes had performed so well these morons want to take the credit away from them...these all should be sent to jail and our medal winners should be awarded with money equivalent to cricketers...

Players participated in CWG lost to india. Main players participated in this tournament or only low grade players will participate???? If india has this much capacity then Why india cannot win atleast a gold medal in olympics??

No,,, level of competition in Olympics is 50 times higher. I'll be happy with 10 medals in olympics.

Pl. Update ur knowledge. Bindra won gold in last year Olympics. Winning gold in CWG is much easier (easier than even asiad) because China is not there. Olympics is too tough due to US, Russia and China.

Not just them... There are other sports powerhouses like Germany, France and Australia. There are a lot of countries with specialization in some sport. (Cuba - boxing, Africa - Athletics, South America - Soccer East Europe - Gymnastics etc.)
