Happy that two of the predictions came true, one of India winning 100 medals and the other of India being in the second spot of the countries tally.

now that commonwealth games have concluded, when is the CEC(commonwealth enquiry committee) to start investigations to unearth common man's loot of wealth by one and those responsible for this?I hope they start well in time and reach logical conclusions before the begining of next commonwealth games.

and not given an excuse to mask corruption

CWG achievements
by VIJAY PARANJI on Oct 14, 2010 10:41 PM

I wrote CWG stands for "Conmen-wealth games" as people must have made tons of money by nefarious means as reported in the media. However the saving grace was the spectacular opening ceremony and the crowning glory is the "century" of medals. It is very special that these successes were noticed side by the side high decibel india-oz cricket test matches which india won. The take lesson of CWG is that the babus and politicians must realize that India has tremendous capacity to perform "without or despite" you guys. Look at the rural folks who brought laurels to India by winning many medals. So, honestly invest in rural india , mitigate their hunger and watch what happens in the next Olympics. Once again hats off to the indian athletes and sport persons who brought 100 medals. Jai ho!!!

Yeah, after all the bad tidings that were forecast before the games and what not. A section of media and some prominent people as well went overboard in their assessment and portended failure for the games.

The siccessful and smooth conduct is a resounding slap on the cheeky cheeks of all such people.
