AS a SPORTS LOVER we wud like to request the COMMONWEALTH GAMES FEDERATION to consider the inclusion of following GAMES in the next CWG-2014 at SCOTLAND. Pls include other beautiful games like VOLLEYBALL, FOOTBALL,CHESS,EQUESTRIAN,FENCING,KABADDI etc.
No matter how gratifying it is to see the success of CWG and on its basis to jump to Olympics arena is a bit tad foolish on our parts... For the simple reason as there are far more important issues that needs to be tacked in our developing country when the majority are still reeling under acute poverty .

pakistan is famous for making nuclear weapons,terrorism. so pls dont comapre it with INDIA. SPORTS is a social rapport between various countries. pak wont even think of hostong any sporting event!
india better host olympics in 2024 rather than in 2020...there are other things which require priority right now rather than games...because maybe india will have to decide on to which city will hold the big games...now delhi already had its share....further no space for additional infrastrucutre....some tier ii cities like kochi, nagpur, pune, chandigarh, ahmedabad must be given the opportunity so that they can turn into metros....

2020 is 10 years from now,if we prepare things well in advance from now,then 2020 will be the period when India will be a super power,and right time to host..so we should bid now itself...
india shud bid and host OLYMPICS in the next few years as INDIA has already been brought into the LIMELIGHT in the WORLDS IMAGE and it has got huge international attention by hosting COMMONWEALTH GAMES. kudos to the people who hav successfully conducted games as delhi. As citizens of INDIA all indian people shud support all games not just CRICKET which has no significance in olympics r asian games or commonwealth. its HIGH TIME that indians support other games!

Can anyone here clear my following doubts 1)How much (in %) technology used in CWG is Indian
2)How many(in %)things used in CWG are Indian
3)How many(in %) engineers and technicians worked in CWG are Indian
I have heard that each and every thing used in CWG is imported from foreign countries.
So should we feel proud of CWG?
Just throwing money does not mean that you are technologically advance.

You ask our sports persons,who represent the strength of our youth power,they will give you suitable reply...can you not see,how the CWG is providing impetus to the development of sporting atmosphere in the country?Why bring political thoughts even to sports?
during weekdays people have to got towork and schools and colleges.during weekends all stadias were full.think if india has enough prospective sportsmen to win medals in olympics they should bid for it as these games have been unexpectedly successful.india is a high risk target with terrorist countries as neighbours .here security requirements are different than to other countries .if anything would have happened during games these people would have been first to shout about indian efficiency.rather have empty stands than feel unsafe.
