Indian sport ministry should now concentrate at swimming becoz in Olympic,asian,as well as more than 1/3 medals are only for different events og swimming ! If we can perform in Swimming then we definitely compete aussiez ...but unfortunately in swimming India is nill .
Wherever hype was created, Indians have lost miserably. Sania is no exception. But where is Saina Nehwal? The unfortunate part we are seeing only the golds, there is no serious effort forthcoming for second and third places; that is either gold or nothing style.
After cricket, tennis is the most overglorified sport in India. We know what Sania Akhtar wear under her skirt, how Bhoopati disagreed with Paes everything. We have made them into bollywood heros and heroines. It is plain old Indians from Haryana and Punjab who are bringing in the golds, not these posh city types. Cheers to them.

Why is she allowed to represent India when she actually now should be a pakistani!
She wants to represent india not for the love of the country but for the financial gains. Anyone that knows anything about sports marketing will know this is true.
She should not be allowed to represent India after all she is a bride of a pakistani. Our culture says that once married you belong to the husbands family! and the husband is a Pakistani hence making her a pakistani as well.

Only if she lives in Pakistan and accepts Pakistani citizenship. As long as she retains her Indian citizenship she cannot legally play for Pakistan irrespective of the fact whether she has married a Pakistani or not....

Currently the men's tennis doubles bronze medal match is going on between the two Indian teams fielded. So the spectators do not know whom to cheer- and the match is not as noisy as others... kind of funny :)
