CWG

The event has not improved the image of India due to bad management and large scale corruption. Even then the likes of Sheila Dixit and other congies want to hold the Olympic games in Delhi! It seems they are not satisfied with the money made during the CWG.

CWG snafus

This CWG is not just a fiasco but is proving to be worse than any nightmare anyone could've dreamed-up.
Say 'thank you" to the venal Congies who've brought shame, not only to the games but to the wretched peoples of this squalid, poverty-stricken land ruled by inept, incompetent, bungling fools and idiots.
The monies squandered on puttin-on this awful taamaasha could've been better spent on basic infrastructure for the starving aam aadmi.

Tickets!
by shiv dewan on Oct 08, 2010 10:10 PM

Tried going for squash today. Finals. Top players in the world. Reached early and told tickets are sold out. Called a friend already in event and he said that there were seats empty. Sold out or given away to people who do not value it - there were lots of people who got turned away - finally got in because I called a few people and got one and was lucky to buy the second outside the gate from a group who had one less attending. Tickets reserved apparently 45% if buzz was to be believed. Empty stands inside - frustrating
