We stand right..
by VB S on Oct 07, 2010 03:54 PM

We Indian people have to stand and we can achieve what we want. We are proud of our sport people and surely they will continue to bring the glory. We request our dirty polititians to get out of sports and leave it to these sports people. Almost all sports sre dirtied by these shameless polititians.

Indian sportsmen - 3 cheers!!!
by Puneet Sohal on Oct 07, 2010 03:30 PM  | Hide replies

Hats off to Indian sportsmen. There are doing so well inspite of such road blocks (sports officials & polisticians). Our boys are so much capable and motivated and so much charged up that they can do wonders and, no doubt, rule the world. So let us all Indians, who are made proud by our sportsmen, take a vow to support these young guys, always raise a voice against the officials/polisticians who dont understand sports and sportsmen.

Let us always be ready to support our sportsmen as and when they require any financial assistance and help them fight all odds. Look at Anisa who won the gold medal in shooting yesterday. She was given job by Railways but no time to practice shooting. When she chose to practice (off course she had to miss her job) she was not given salary for more than 15 months. She did not have any money to repair her pistol. Thanks to Samaresh Jung. He gave her the pin of his pistol so that Anisa could continue practice and, cheers, she won the gold medal with that pistol with that pin in it.

Freinds let us take a vow to do anything it takes to take sports and sportsmen in India to greater heights. Let us also take a vow not to support officials like Kalmadi ever.

Thanks,
