Kiran Kumar:

:) you are right... that was an organisation blunder.... not having enough room on the stage and our esteemed politician not moving off gracefully to allow the winners to celebrate...

And this present one was another organising issue....

You pick up the better one... :)

But no doubt CWG are better organised than the Beijing 2008 Olympics... eh? :)

I feel sorry for these athletes.
by indi man on Oct 06, 2010 07:28 AM  | Hide replies

Wow, that had to be tough, hope nobody was claustrophobic, could have been very bad, if somebody got a heart attack or something. In the Indian psyche human beings donmatter. This is how Indian athletes get treated anyways. Indians are more concerned about how proud they are about the whole world watching them and clapping looking at dance and music. But they dont realise nobody gives a ratsass about CWG or India.

MOneghetti, this is India.. this is how we do things, generally! you, like the rest of the world know very well that this was a spruced up opening ceremony, after much dilly dallying, much gobbling up of resources by the interested parties, and so much patch working at the last moment..

We Indians have waited for hours in couldron/deep freezer conditions even to get our loved ones' death certificates..we have become callous to such barbarous treatment, and we still are made to say Jai Ho to that system.

fault is on both sides as organizers shuld be aware of these issues during planning stage..
at the same time.. its not suprising to hear these people crib at every adversity..
they will crib n fear for their lives during ipl but still show up for the cash..

Very well said.... if they are coming to India, they should have steeled themselves for the ordeals they would be subjected to; rather than expecting a CommonWealthGames standard facilities... :)
