In recent years India has climbed the hill better in events such as Running, Wresting, Shooting, Table Tennis, Bat Minton, Tennis and Boxing, on considering both Commonwealth and Asian games. Yet we lack to make foot prints in events such as Gymnastics, Swimming, Diving and Cycling where considerable medals can be won.
If the concerned authority goes for a deep hunt to groom young talents and creates better facilities at grass root levels for said events, then it will help the country to shine further.
It is good to see India winning medal at the Asian Games. But to say this was the best performance by comparing the medal won this time with other Asian Games can be mis-leading. We must remember that this time many more medals were there to be won, due to inclusion of many new games and catagories.

Very true for other countries as well they would have also win many and would have positioned above india
We salut all the participants who won medals as well as who couldnot win for their sincere effort and hard work who made we Indians feel proud. we honour & congratulate them. But,I am not happy again with our media TV channels whether its Govt. or Private who neither give them coverage in the news nor put any effort to bring or introduce all of them in TV Channels for their honour, moral boost up and encouragement which they have done in CWG Delhi 2010. So please cover them honorably off and on with their highlights and achievement of bith who won and who couldnot but might get in future. So, please do the felicitation they really deserve & keep them covering in TV. With all our best wishes and salutation again. GP SINHA, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand

Well Said..there must be lot of encouragement from media to those Sportsmen... they deserved that
Vwry Very excellantly Well done our Indians who are our real Heros & heroins. We all salute you. But, our Indian Media channels whether it's private or Govt. Channels again failed to cover this Asiad unlike Common Wealth Games Delhi 2010. So, please, bring all of them one by one in the TV channels to introduce them to all Indians and felicitate & honour them on and off in the news with their highlights including the CWG winners & losers. with all our best wishes who made us feel proud even those who could not get medals.
