No buddy! Fortune favors the brave and I bow my head in humble appreciation and awe of you folks. 14 golds! and in fields such as skating! If only our corrupt bureaucracy would release even 10 per cent of the funds meant for sports, India can emerge in the top ten of any sports congregation. Too much has been spent by too many people on only a very few sports in India, which HAS to change.... just like our political front. Bihar has shown the way, why cant the rest??? Jai Hind!
Vijendra's Gold was something special.Vijendra deserves all praise for putting behind the disappointment of CWG and getting the GOld, boxing with the injured thumb.Coming to India's performance, it was indeed heartening to see our atheletes give their best ever performance. But still the male atheletes have lot to catch up with world standard.Tennis and Boxing were the two other fields where Indians did well.Shooting, wrestling weightlifting and Hockey are the areas where we have performed below potential Once all these areas are addressed adequately, India can certainly put up a world class show.We can certainly expect our best ever medals tally in Olympics in 2012,London.
People always misunderstand luck is their right but it is the God's Hand in a God fearing man in his all walks of Life. In the scriptures there is a Verse " EVERYTHING WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO WHOM GOD LOVES." If a person walks in God's ways and does what God pleases then this will happen.

So when Vijender lost in the world championships, God favored Abbos Atoev. In the Asian Games, God favored Vijender. God has better things to do than interfere in a boxing match
The guy has started maturing now. That he has potential like Tendulkar is well known. But, actually, it is the temperament that is needed to manage your success. He is getting seasoned, once he is seasoned, nobody can stop him from becoming world champion. Wish him all the success.
