Right, it is the weakest team in the world today..can perform only on flat tracks and need helpful conditions to do something of note. Else we see them getting into some scandals or the other

U have a point, i too saw on TV, found the pitch as well as outfield rank bad. Surprised that China known for world class infra could offer such a pitch with outfield

If BCCI doesn't want to send the team, IOC should have put up its own team. They could have easily found 11 talented players that are ignored by BCCI and selection committee politicians.

Not necessarily, it would be shameful if team like India play such tournament... Indian cricket team is not in that position.

bcci should be fined heavily and that should be used in promoting other shorts.

BCCI cant think of anything except money. It is ridiculous that world's biggest cricket body could not send a secondary team at least. Why piggyback on BCCI , guv could have sent promising Ranji players and they could have got the gold.
